State Rally Schedule

 

Thursday October 12 

  • Arrival
    • Vans of those attending the delegates meeting will arrive throughout the day and will be parked on the oval.
    • There are two entrances onto the oval.
    • Marshalls will provide guidance for oval parking.
    • There will be Traffic Management in place to provide a planned route through town to direct vans to the site and avoid any bottlenecks and traffic disruptions.
  • Registration, Raffle Tickets, Welcome coffee and tea
    • We will be registering those who arrive on this day to reduce the load on the Friday.
    • Register yourself for some of the games.
    • Raffle tickets will be available for sale.
    • The Triple C Cafe will be open to enjoy some refreshments.
  •  Van Weights facility – See Newsletter No 4 for details
    • A van weighing service is to be available on this day. This is with a certified technician.
    • Bookings will need to be made for a specific time and the service will be done before a participating van can move onto the oval. This will mean you have to plan your arrival to meet the time of your booking.
    • You cannot go onto the oval until your van has been weighed.
    • The cost is expected to be $50 per van and a detailed report will be provided. 
  • ACCWA Delegates Meeting
    • ACCWA is inviting all club members to attend the delegates meeting to be held in the evening. This is your opportunity to discuss matters with the Executive.
    • Those who wish to attend the extended delegates meeting will be able to park their vans on the oval, however it is expected that they attend the delegates meeting, not just an early park.
  • Meals and Drinks
    • The bar in the PRACC will be open for the purchase of drinks. No drinks can be brought inside the PRACC as it is a licensed premise. The drink prices in the bar are very reasonable and there is a good selection of beers, wines and other stuff.
    • The PRACC Bistro will be open for meals.
  • Time Schedule
    • 0800 to 1600 Van entry and registration for those attending the ACCWA Delegates meeting.
    • 0730 to 1600 Booked van weighing by Aussie Weigh.
    • 0900 to 1500 Registration & raffle ticket sales.
    • 0900 to 1500 CCC Café open for refreshments. BYO cup.
    • 1700 to 1845 ACCWA Delegates meeting.
    • 1400 to 2000 PRACC bar open for drink purchase.
    • 1700 to 2000 PRACC Bistro open for food purchase.

Friday October 13

  • Arrival

  • Registration, Raffle Tickets, Welcome coffee and tea
    • Registration will be open.
    • Register yourself for some of the games.
    • Raffle tickets will be available for sale.
    • The Triple C cafe will be open to enjoy some refreshments.
  • Opening
    • There will be a happy hour in the Sports Hall from around 5pm with some light snacks, finger food also provided.
    • A bar will be established in the Sports Hall for the purchase of drinks. No drinks can be brought inside the PRACC as it is a licensed premise. No glass is permitted in the Sports Hall.   The drink prices in the bar are very reasonable and there is a good selection of beers, wines and other stuff.
    • Some light entertainment will be provided during the happy hour.

Saturday October 14

  • FAM (Food, Art & Music) festival
    • The Pingelly Shire has a festival event on the Saturday which will be well worth checking out.
    • No activiteis have been planned for the morning so everyone can have a chance to enjoy the festival.
  •  Raffle Tickets, Coffee and tea available
    • The registration desk will be open for general queries.
    • Raffle tickets will be available for sale.
    • The Triple C Cafe will be open to enjoy some refreshments.
  • Activities
    • Disk bowls and ladder golf will be played in the afternoon.
    • You will have had to register your name on Thursday or Friday when you picked up your registration information. 
  • Evening
    • There will be no formal happy hour tonight. Attendees may wish to create their own.
    • The bar in the PRACC will be open for the purchase of drinks. No drinks can be brought inside the PRACC as it is a licensed premise. The drink prices in the bar are very reasonable and there is a good selection of beers, wines and other stuff.
    • The prepaid buffet meals will be served between 5pm and 7pm in the bar/Bistro area. 
    • The main entertainment by Pete Stone and the Hilstones will start at 7pm in the Sports hall. 
  • Time Schedule
    • 0800 to 1700 Pingelly town market and festival.
    • 0900 to 1500 Registration & raffle ticket sales.
    • 0900 to 1500 CCC Café open for refreshments BYO cup.
    • 1300 to 1500 Games for disc bowls, ladder golf.
    • 1300 to 1700 Caravan safety and maintenance talks.
    • 1400 to 2000 PRACC bar open for purchase of drinks.
    • 1700 to 1900 Pre-ordered buffet meals will be served.
    • 1900 to 2300 Evening entertainment by Pete Stone and the Hiltones rock n roll, country rock and blues music

Sunday October 15

  • Raffle Tickets, Coffee and tea available
    • The registration desk will be open for general queries.
    • Raffle tickets will be available for sale.
    • The Triple C Cafe will be open after 11:30 to enjoy some refreshments.
  • Education Sessions
    • Two education sessions will be held in the Sports Hall on Sunday morning:
      • First aid talk and defib demonstration by the St John Ambulance
      • Fire safety talk and fire suppression demonstration by the Pingelly Fire Service
  • Activities
    •  A bring and buy Market will be happening at noon. There is no cost for this. It will be held on the PRACC verandah.
    • Lawn Bowls will be happening in the afternoon if there are sufficient numbers. Bowlers must bring their own bowls.
    • The ACCWA Cup Horse race will be on in the afternoon. Put on your glad rags and enjoy
  • Evening
    • This will be the closing night for the rally.
    • Happy hour will be at 5pm. Bring your own snacks.
    • The bar in the PRACC will be open for the purchase of drinks. No drinks can be brought inside the PRACC as it is a licensed premise. The drink prices in the bar are very reasonable and there is a good selection of beers, wines and other stuff.
    • The rally raffle prize winners will be drawn.
    • The closing ceremony will be held.
    • Some light entertainment will be provided.
  • Time Schedule
    • 0900 to 1030 First aid talk and defib demonstration.
    • 1030 to 1200 Fire safety talk and fire suppression demo
    • 0800 to 1500 raffle ticket sales.
    • 1130 to 1500 CCC Café open for refreshments BYO cup.
    • 1200 to 1400 Bring and buy market.
    • 1300 to 1600 Lawn bowls (possibly).
    • 1400 to 1600 ACCWA Cup Horse racing game.
    • 1700 to 1800 Happy hour.
    • 1800 to 1830 Closing ceremony, main raffle draw.
    • 1830 to 2000 Entertainment. Pingelly choir, local singe

Monday October 16

  • Time to go
    • Vans will commence to leave throughout the morning with an expectation that the majority of vans will have left by midday.
  • Clean Up
    • Like all great events there is always the cleanup.
    • Throughout the day the various facilities will be removed and the site restored to good condition.
    • Any assistance that can be provided would be appreciated.
